Post Excavation Work
Post Excavation work is underway at Caer Alyn. This week we started recording the excavations in the Southern Enclosure. We also started sorting, photographing and recording the finds from trench 14.
Margret, Beverly, John and Penny (Oh and me) had a go at setting up the sytem, taking photographs and filling in the finds spreadsheet. It was great fun, in a cold finds room. The company was good, the cakes fine and the jelly babies wonderful. Oh and the finds look good. Considering we complain about not finding much, we have a lot of stuff to process.
This is a long term activity that needs to be shared by as many interested individuals as possible.
