Heritage Lottery Fund Award

In 2006 the Caer Alyn Project was awarded two heritage grants to develop a project that would inform the local communities and visitors to the region about the heritage of the area. The awards, Your Heritage and Awards for All Wales will provide the means to fully interpret the legacy of the past and provide all with a better understanding of their past. To achieve this the project will develop an educational resource linked to the National Curriculum and community initatives that will inform and educate the local people of their heritage, and how they can help to project their heritage for future generations.
