2009 Summer Dig DiaryMonday 3rd August 2009Excavations started today on an earthwork feature near to the southern enclosure of the Bryn Alyn hiilfort. An 8 x 1.5 metre trench was opened up across the feature which revealed a bank, with a ditch at the eastern end of the trench. Work will continue on Tuesday to reveal the ditch at the western end of the trench. 2913 visits |
