Trench 14 Update, A "Diggers" story

Trench 14 finds have been inspected, sorted, dated and recorded. I have decided to do an update based on my thoughts as a digger who has spent a lot of time in the trench and looking at the finds. This is what UI think so far. Feel free to comment, disagree or whatever.

Summary of Excavations on BOB

Caer Alyn held an open meeting on Saturday, to give members an update on activities over the last year and also what is planned for the coming year. A power point presentation on BOB was given and a word copy of this presentation is attached. The Power point presentation was too large to upload.

Activities Over last month

The last month has seen activity in trench 14 and the new enclosure area, with no further work on BOB yet. The attachment gives a brief summary of the activities and the photograph of Phil and his badge, found in the enclosure is an omen!

Dig Diary on BOB 11th & 18th October

The dig diary for the last two weeks is attached. We are now drawing to a close on BOB and will be starting the post excavation work soon. There is a bit of planning, photographing and paperwork to do and then the trench will be closed down and back filled.
